| In Die, we have the chance to have a cinema Art et Essai, Le Pestel, in which we often go. This cinema, with its façade of the thirties and its pink shop sign, proposes 2 movies a week. In summer, you can drink something on the shady terrace by listening the cicadas or your neighbours discussing of the movy.
Die is an ancient roman town (Dea Augusta). To walk round its ramparts in which have been recycled pieces of pillars and steles is a good approach to get in touch with its past. You can go on by visiting the small History and Archeology Museum which will lead you till our countries prehistory. Tel 04 75 22 40 05 or Die Tourism Office.
The ancient Valcroissant Cistercian Abbey, at the foot of the pink cliff of Glandasse, deserves the detour, and even a guided visit by the present places owner. Tel 04 75 22 12 70.
